First visit

We know that this meeting is important to you. When you visit, please share with us any concerns you might have about your smile or the smile of your child. Getting to know you better enables us to make recommendations that meet your needs.

This first consultation lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. You will first answer a medical and dental questionnaire. We recommend that you fill out the form online. We will take a digital panoramic x-ray if you do not already have one at your disposal. A thorough clinical examination will follow. We will then provide you with the details of the diagnosis as well as our recommendations. If a treatment is determined to be necessary, we will explain all the steps and the orthodontic appliances involved. We will answer all your questions. Take advantage of this meeting; we are at your service!

At the end of the meeting we will provide you with an estimate of our fees if a treatment is recommended. We will also suggest methods of payment that can be adapted to help you stay within your budget. If your insurance policy covers orthodontic care, we will fill out a form for you. Note that orthodontic fees can be deducted as medical fees, which may help you recover a portion of your expenses. This tax provision often helps to make orthodontic treatments even more affordable for our patients. Ask your accountant about this.
